SUREBAND Clear is a revolutionary safety spray shield manufactured by Flangeguards. It has been pressure tested to 335 bar, is suitable for maximum surface temperature in excess of 500 ˚C.
Comprises of S316 stainless steel material. It’s outer band thickness is 0.5mm, with multi-layered stainless steel internal mesh is of 3.0 mm thickness. Simple & quick fit connection which doesn’t require any tool / drilling.
Once installed, the steel mesh is compressed against the flange, forms the basis of our Pressure Diffusion Technology (PDT). This mesh, which is crimped along the center to fill the gap between the two flange faces quickly and efficiently diffuses the spray-out and prevent mist formation, resulting in a safe drip-release.
Our product SUREBAND Steel is typically used on high pressure pipe lines and is ideally suited for Steam / Oil applications. It has been leak tested at various orifice sizes at pressure up to 335 Bar. It can be re-used in the event of a leak, thus providing a long term solution. In the event of leak, SUREBAND STEEL can be re-used thus providing a long term solution.
